A watchlist is a personal collection of exact exchange listings used to revisit research. Adding a listing does not buy it and is not a recommendation.
1. Create or select a group. 2. Search within the intended exchange. 3. Add the exact listing. 4. Choose optional metrics. 5. Review freshness and unavailable fields. 6. Open Stock Details for evidence.
Adding AAPL on NASDAQ and SHOP on TSX keeps USD and CAD values separate. A blank beta column remains — until enough synchronized benchmark history exists.
Positive/negative returns describe their stated window. High risk flags request review; they are not trade instructions. A dash is excluded from comparison rather than ranked as zero.
A genuine source-reported or calculated zero is displayed as 0. Unavailable (—) means verified evidence is absent, unsupported, stale or not computable; it is never silently changed to zero.
Do not mix ticker text with identity, compare unlike currencies as one total, or assume a stale row is current. Watchlists can become biased collections and do not measure a complete portfolio.
The same ticker can exist on multiple venues. Price scale, session and currency follow the saved exchange; LSE pence and pound values must remain distinguishable.
