Sign-in and session problems

ಸರಳ ಅರ್ಥ
Sign-in problems are almost always identity-provider, cookie or session-expiry issues rather than market-data issues. Public research keeps working without an account; owner-scoped features need a valid session.
Where it appears #
Symptoms appear as a signed-out header state, missing watchlists or portfolios, or a locked page that was previously accessible.
Step-by-step workflow #
1. Check the header sign-in state. 2. Sign in again through the configured identity provider. 3. If the provider page fails, retry once and check your network. 4. Confirm third-party cookies are not blocked for the sign-in flow. 5. After signing in, open a saved feature and confirm owner-scoped data appears. 6. If data is still missing, verify you signed in with the same account that owns it.
Worked example #
A user with two accounts can sign in with the wrong one and see empty watchlists. The data is not lost; it belongs to the other owner identity and reappears after signing in with it.
How to interpret the result #
Signed-out means no session; it does not delete server-side owner data. An expired session asking you to reauthenticate is normal security behaviour, not data loss.
Limitations and common mistakes #
Never share passwords or one-time codes with anyone, including support. Clearing browser storage removes local recent items and progress markers but not server-owned portfolios.
Market-specific differences #
Identity-provider availability can vary by region and time; billing and plan state are account properties and survive sign-out.
