How to use this bond scanner
Start with credit quality and maturity, then compare yield. A high yield is useful only when the
credit risk, liquidity, and payout schedule still fit the investor's risk appetite.
What helps
Find bonds by maturity bucket, rating, and payout style instead of chasing yield alone.
What to expect
Shorter maturity can reduce duration risk; stronger rating can reduce credit risk; both may lower yield.
Warning
Check liquidity, callable terms, taxation, and issuer concentration before treating yield as return.

Investor guide
A bond is a debt claim. The issuer promises contractual cash flows under the issue terms, but payment, liquidity, calls, taxation and reinvestment can change the realized outcome.
A corporate bond funds an issuer and exposes the holder to that issuer's credit, seniority, security and liquidity. Rating is an opinion, not a guarantee.
Current yield is annual coupon cash divided by the observed price. YTM also accounts for the price-to-redemption difference and scheduled cash flows under payment and reinvestment assumptions. Neither is a promised return.
Verify the ISIN, offer document, current tradable price, accrued interest, settlement lot, call/put terms, security rank, taxation, issuer concentration and how recently the bond actually traded.
